Overview
The Digital Media Center (DMC) is a digital media lab and makerspace located on the 2nd floor of the Athens-Clarke County Library.
- Hours: The DMC is open during regular library hours.
- Staffed hours: Check the DMC calendar.
- All DMC users and visitors must sign in at the 2nd Floor Reference Desk.
- The DMC is reserved for creative work, makerspace projects, and digital media conversion — not for general computing.

- Free access to Apple and Adobe Creative Cloud creative software
- Creative software classes and tutorials (DMC calendar)

- Vinyl & paper cutting
- Digital to analog media conversion (cassettes, VHS and VHS-C tapes, CDs, & DVDs)
- Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) for recording music or podcasts (Book an appointment)

- Cricut machine: Cameo Silhouette 3
- Drawing tablets: Wacom Intuos
- Digital media hardware: VCR, portable cassette player, CD/DVD drives, Elgato Video Converter
- VR Systems: Facebook Oculus Quest VR (x3) and HTC Vive VR (For outreach programs)
