Ms. Hannah is the Children’s Specialist at the Madison County Library. She’s worked in libraries for almost nine years now, always with children or teens. Before coming here, Ms. Hannah worked in the Athens-Clarke County and Winterville branches. Her first library experience was as a summer intern at the Oconee County Library while she was still in college. She loved helping out with their summer reading program so much that she decided to make it her career!

Can you guess what Ms. Hannah’s favorite animal is? Think about it for a minute…

Hannah grew up in Athens, frequently visiting the library there. Now she lives in Comer. She has two dogs, who are both named for bands. Echo (right) is named for Echo and the Bunnymen, and Stevie for (left) Stevie Nicks.

Speaking of animals, did you guess that dogs were her favorite? No, it’s the turkey vulture! Ms. Hannah says, “They’re just neat. I think they are biologically fascinating!”
