This summer, both libraries within Franklin County, which includes the Lavonia-Carnegie Library and the Royston Public Library, are working with Happy Helpings to provide free summer lunches to children ages 18 and younger. Each weekday that the libraries are open, up to 60 meals a day will be delivered, and they are distributed on a first-come first-serve basis.
Lunches will be available at the Lavonia-Carnegie Library on these days:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12:00PM-1:00PM
Royston Library’s days are:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 12:00PM-1:00PM.
So, if you or someone you know is need of a free nutritious meal during the summer, stop on by and spread the word!
