A selection of Chromebook laptops are available for check-out on a first-come/first-served basis from locations of the Athens Regional Library System.
Available Chromebooks may be checked out by ARLS resident PINES card holders, age 18 and older. Eligible patrons must present their active, valid ARLS PINES card in order to check out Chromebooks. A patron must read and sign the Chromebook Checkout Agreement form before being issued a Chromebook.
Chromebooks must be checked out from and returned directly in the library, in person. Only one Chromebook may be checked out at a time per patron account.
Chromebooks will be loaned for a period of 14 days and are not renewable. Chromebooks may not be placed on hold. Chromebooks will be disabled remotely by close of business on the due date.
The patron checking out the device is responsible for damages to and/or loss of the Chromebook and its accessories.
