On Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 5:30 p.m., the Winterville Library hosts a poetry reading with Dr. Gary D. Grossman. Grossman is a retired Professor of Animal Ecology at the University of Georgia. For ten years he wrote the “Ask Dr. Trout” column for American Angler magazine. His nature poetry has elicited comments such as “Absolutely captured the stark winter beauty of a beech, & a winter forest.” and “Wonderful imagery.” This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
