Last Minute Summer Fun

Summer is almost over but the Bogart Library still has fun programs for kids and teens.

Crafty Teens, join Kathryn for Help I Yarned, Friday, July 21st @ 1 pm to learn new fiber art skills.

Like scary movies? Like Art? Teens are invited to join Kathryn, Friday, July 21st at 4 pm for Art & A Movie: Moonlight & Monsters. We’ll show the ORIGINAL classic Wolfman and make buttons and other art representative of the movie’s style. Snacks, too!

Tweens, join Paul for Tween Trivia, Tuesday, July 25th at 6 pm. It’ll be a fast-paced, fun Kahoot-styled game of knowledge and skill. Bring friends! Snacks will be provided.

And, last but not least, kids ages five and up, join Dr. Maurice Snook for Chemistry and SLIME, Thursday, July 27th, at 3 pm for our Summer Reading Club Fun Finale program.

Chapter Book Challenge Participants, it’s not too late to turn in your hours.   The top twelve lucky readers will be invited, along with a friend, to an afterhours Pizza and Movie Palooza, Friday, July 28th, from 6 – 8 pm. Chapter Book Challenge participants must be at least 8 years old and have completed at least 25 hours of chapter book reading. Hours must be turned in by 6 pm, Monday, July 26th, so that we know how much pizza to order.

Can’t make any of these events? Worry not! Fall fun begins in September!
