Ready for Halloween? Join Bogart Library staff for a week of creepy, spooky and chilling fun for all ages. Ms. Donna has her black cape ready! Adults & teens, begin your Creepy Week with Chilling Tales, Thursday, October 26th at 7 pm. Storyteller Donna Butler will share original ghost stories based on Celtic and Appalachian tales. Best for ages 13 and up, but no one under 11, please.

Join us Friday, October 27th, 4-6 pm for a showing of the original Dracula with Bela Lugosi. Popcorn, lemonade and art supplies provided. Sketch scary images and make buttons from your art work.
Hogwarts Halloween
Have you ever dreamed of an owl delivering your own invitation to learn the magical arts at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? Well, you are invited to Hogwarts Halloween, a special family event when the Bogart Library will be magically transfigured into a wizarding world. Whether you coast in on a broomstick, hitch a ride on the Knight Bus, or fast travel with a blast of Floo Powder, be sure not to miss this magical program filled with owlery, potions, herbology, quidditch, and lots more Halloween fun! P.S. Feel free to come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume! Saturday, October 28, 2023. 2 -3:30 pm.
Boo, Ya’ll! All Day Halloween Fun
Drop by the Bogart Library, in costume or not, for a whole day of passive games, crafts, fine motor activities, prizes and creativity. The fun starts at 12:30 pm and continues until 7:30 pm. Craft and game stations will be set up all over the library, so don’t miss it! Drop by the Bogart City Trunk R Treat, too, for even more fun from 6 – 8 pm.
