Every Story Time, at every library, is different and special. We suggest you visit them all!
Story Times allow children to enjoy stories, rhymes, songs, and movement that helps support early literacy. A take-home craft kit is sometimes provided. We encourage all toddlers and preschool-aged children to attend these wonderful events!
At the Oglethorpe County Library, Miss Jessica hosts our Story Times and whether it’s helping free plastic barn animals from a yarn ‘fence’, digging for treasures in sand, dancing, or counting monkeys in high style, children have a great time while learning and improving their skills. Special guests, (like Santa, above) sometimes visit Miss Jessica and occasionally, we even have tasty snacks!
For the new year, why not visit every library in the Athens Regional Library System and see their wonderful Story Times for yourself? Each one is as awesome and unique as the staff who runs it!
