It’s time to restock your bookshelves at the Friends of Athens-Clarke County Library’s annual Fall Book Sale!
The Friends will host their sale beginning Wednesday, September 27, through Saturday, September 30, in the Athens-Clarke County Library’s multipurpose rooms. The sale will feature more than 20,000 gently used books, including fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, hardbacks, paperbacks, audio books, CDs and more.
The sale will begin with a Friends-only preview sale from 2-7 pm on Wednesday, September 27. Shoppers can purchase a Friends membership at the door for $25 and then get first pick at the sale!
The sale will be open to the public from 10 am to 7 pm on Thursday, September 28; and 10 am to 5 pm on Friday, September 29, and Saturday, September 30. Saturday is Bag Day, when shoppers can fill a grocery bag provided by the Friends for just $10.
