If your 8-to-12 year old wants to learn the basics of chess, come to the Winterville Library on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. An adult must accompany each child and space is limited to eight children. Lessons will be taught by J.P. Caillault, one of the directors of the Winterville Chess Club.
