Closed for Independence Day

 July 3rd and 4th 2020

All libraries in the region will be closed on July 3rd and July 4th, for Independence Day. 

All Athens Regional Library System branches’ buildings remain closed to the public at this time. We now offer curbside holds pickup and are accepting returns in our book drops, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays at most branches. We will update you as more information becomes available.

Books and eBooks

Galileo, Georgia's Virtual Library eBooks at EBSCOhost provides eBooks on a variety of topics, including reference books, scholarly monographs, publications of many university presses, and consumer books. Books can be downloaded onto portable devices using Adobe Digital Editions.

RBDigital logo

RBDigital allows Athens-Regional Library System cardholders to download audiobooks and ebooks for free. You may check out up to five books at a time; once you have checked out a book, you can download it to your computer or to a mobile device.
