Live! @ the Library: New Horizons Band

New HorizonsSunday, July 7, 3:00 p.m. 

Come celebrate our Country’s freedom with some toe-tapping, flag-waving Patriotic music! The Athens New Horizons Band, under the direction of Joyce L. King, is under the umbrella of the University of Georgia Community Music School. This group formed in 2010 and has grown from the 5 original members to the more than 25 it is today. The members are ages 50 and older with the average age being in the 70s. Sponsored by Friends of Athens-Clarke County Library. In Appleton Auditorium.
