The Digital Media Center at the Athens-Clarke County Library provides an opportunity for making graphics, editing videos, mixing digital audio files, and more! If you have a creative side, or if you just want to convert those old VHS home movies to DVD, the Digital Media Center has the equipment you need.

DMC has 

  • 4 computers (2 Macs, 2 PCs)
  • Full range of graphics, audio, video, and game making software
  • Scanner, graphics tablet, high-quality printer, and media conversion peripherals.
  • Reference books covering the most popular software applications
  • A 3D printer (by reservation only)

All visitors and DMC users must sign in at the Information Desk.

Computers in the DMC can be reserved in advance for blocks of up to two hours; groups can reserve the entire DMC for up to 4 hours.

Hours: The DMC is open un-staffed on a drop-in basis during regular library hours. Personal assistance is available during select drop-in staffed hours. You may also reserve the DMC for use or schedule personalized help in the DMC. Please check our calendar for  staffed hours, workshops and more.

Reservations and Workshops: Register for classes, book 3D printing, make an appointment for help, or reserve the DMC ! You can also visit the Information Services Desk or call 706-613-3650 ext 354 to reserve the DMC.
