For the safety of our patrons and with a continued effort to “flatten the curve," all Athens Regional Library System branches in Athens-Clarke, Franklin, Madison, Oconee and Oglethorpe counties will remain closed until such time that it is deemed safe to reopen to the public. Library staff remain on the job  serving our communities virtually.  Please feel free to contact us at http://athenslibrary.org/homepage/regional-information/contact-us if you have any questions regarding library service during this time. We will update the community as more information becomes available.

Live! At the Library Application

The Athens-Clarke County Library is seeking performers for the Live! at the Library concert series, sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Concerts are held in the Appleton Auditorium on the first Sunday of each month at 3 p.m. and last for one hour. Performers receive a $175 honorarium from the Friends of the Library.

The concert series aims to offer a diversity of musical genres that covers a range of community interests. All applications will be assessed according to this criteria. Song lyrics and content must be appropriate to all ages. Our “all ages” rule is not intended to censor, but instead to be considerate of everyone attending Live! at the Library.

The library auditorium seats 165. Groups are responsible for bringing their own equipment. The library does not have a piano.

Please fill out this application completely. Incomplete applications will not be considered. A music sample must be included with all applications.
