All Athens Regional Library System branches’ buildings remain closed to the public at this time. We now offer curbside holds pickup and are accepting returns in our book drops, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays at most branches. bilingual storytime¡Bienvenido! Join us for this special program of Spanish/English language fun! Share books, songs, rhymes and activities en español y ingles on the first Friday of every month. For children ages 3-8 and their caregiver on Friday, January 3rd, 2020 at 4:00 pm. In Storyroom.

“Mañana, we fly again!” Jump on your motorcycle and spend the morning at the library with your dad or male caregiver (moms are welcome too) for this special Storyime graphicbilingual storytime on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 11:00 am. Listen to Isabel Quintero’s story of sharing a magical ride with her papi on his motocicleta, sample Mexican pastries, design your own helmet and motorcycle crafts to go. Get ready for a TRAIN-TASTIC week in the Children’s Department! Join us for special train-themed storytimes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday, as we share books and songs all about trains!  See Dr. Maurice Snook’s amazing model railroad trains in action at the end of each storytime, and one last running of the trains on Sunday afternoon. For children ages 2-8 and their caregiver. In Storyroom.
