Need to brighten up your morning? Join some of your favorite storytime folks from around the region right here on Facebook! We live stream from various locations with your favorite songs, rhymes and books! The more we get together...the happier we'll be! Check out the schedule as we share virtual storytimes from all of our regional library facebook pages.

We’re celebrating our first annual Athens Children’s Book Festival, and you’re invited! Join us for an afternoon of family fun, books, authors, illustrators, music, crafts and activities on Saturday, March 28th, 2020 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Meet Pete the Cat and some of your favorite children’s creators, including Laurel Snyder, Jessie Sima, Mike Lowery, Xelena González, Surishtha Sehgal, Karen Strong, Amy Alznauer and Ping Zhu. Support some of your local favorites including David Hale, Bart King, Jacob Wenzka, Margo Candelario, Lil’ Ice Cream Dude and more! This program is brought to you by the Athens-Clarke County Library, in conjunction with our wonderful co-sponsors: The Friends of the ACC Library, Avid Bookshop, UGA's Department of Language and Literacy Education, and Books for Keeps. Books will be available for purchase and signing. All ages are welcome. Events are building-wide.
