one spooky  nightPut on your favorite Halloween disguise and join us for our Special 20th Annual One Spooky Night: A Vintage Halloween Carnival on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm! Enjoy an evening of seasonal tales, costumes, shadow puppetry and surprises! After the performance, enjoy trick-or-treating throughout the library for non-food prizes at every public desk. Journey through the haunted Storyroom, play vintage carnival games and make an assortment of spooky crafts. For all ages with caregiver. Performance in Meeting Rooms A&B. Activities building-wide.

6:30 p.m. – Shadow Puppet Show and performance.

7:00 p.m. – Trick-or-Treat and activities building-wide

Peppa wants a perfectly unique Halloween costume this year. She has lots of creative ideas. The only problem is her friends seem to have the same idea. Will Peppa Pig find a perfect costume in time? Peppa Pig crafts to go. For children ages 3-8 and their caregiver on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11:00 am. Costumes are welcome. In Storyroom.

Mummy Cat prowls his ancient home, for his long lost owner to call his own. He’ll wait until his queen appears, his friend for over 3,000 years! Learn about mummies, hieroglyphs and ancient Egypt, as we share stories of ghostly cats and Egyptian crafts. For children ages 4-11 and their caregiver on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 3:30 pm. Outdoor story and music program for children ages 2-5 and their caregiver. Meet us in the park next to the top pavilion on the hill.
